Samuel Morse: telegraph
Samuel Finley Breese Morse was an American inventor. He contributed to the invention of a single-wire telegraph system based on European telegraphs. Morse used 35 wires with gold electrodes in water and at the receiving end 2000 feet the message was read by the amount of gas caused by electrolysis.
